Rear Details, Clearly Under Control
A229 Pro Tele features three Sony STARVIS 2 image sensors, for all cameras. The sensors, namely the IMX678,
IMX675 and IMX662, offer wider dynamic range and higher light sensitivity than the STARVIS tech, bringing much less noise and motion blur
during day & night recording.
The front camera records in remarkable 4K with Sony STARVIS 2 1/1.8” 8MP image sensor that packs in more pixels for greater clarity and detail.
It captures license plates and more details with exceptional clarity day and night, even in high-speed driving.
The telephoto camera features a 4X optical zoom to clearly capture distant details like license plates and road scenery.
It delivers sharp 2K videos with no distortion, making it easy to share stunning moments from your journey. It can complement
the wide-angle front cam by providing additional perspectives, offering a comprehensive view of the road.
A229 Pro Tele is a perfect solution for license plate capture. Featuring a 4x optical telephoto cam, it brings distant vehicles into sharp focus — ideal for reading plates from afar. Powered by Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, it excels in low-light conditions, ensuring clear plate capture even at night or in fast-moving traffic.
The rear camera records in 1080P resolution with Sony STARVIS 2 1/2.8” 2MP image sensor. The sensor features a wider dynamic range than the STARVIS pixel of the same size, capturing exceptionally clear and sharp videos during daytime and nighttime recording.
A229 Pro Tele is outstanding in a wide range of lighting conditions, by virtue of Sony STARVIS 2 tech. The flagship sensors,
coupled with advanced HDR technology, balance extremely bright and dark areas to accurately restore 4K & 2K details recorded at night,
even capture accurate license details in fast move.
An upgraded 5GHz Wi-Fi connection module is built into A229 Pro Tele to provide much faster Wi-Fi data transfer, ensuring smooth video previewing, downloading and sharing.
The dashcam supports seamless connectivity to your smartphone via a USB2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable, enabling superfast downloads of photos and videos. Specifically, the download speed is up to 20MB/s on iPhone 16. This direct connection also facilitates effortless firmware updates, ensuring access to the latest features and optimal performance.
Note: Please use a USB2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable and ensure that your phone supports an output of 5V2A. This data transfer method is compatible with the iPhone 15/16 series and newer versions of Android smartphones.
A229 Pro Tele comes with an advanced voice control feature, which allows you to start recording, take photos, and turn on/off WiFi with simple spoken commands in multiple languages (English/Chinese/Russian/Japanese). It can also clearly notify you of settings changes or memory card errors, keeping you fully focused on the road.

A299 Pro Tele features a state-of-the-art Quad-Mode GPS module which supports 4 satellite positioning systems, GPS, BeiDou, Galileo,
and GLONASS, achieving positioning faster and greatly improving positioning accuracy & stability. It provides detailed location, speed,
and time data of the vehicle when playing back the video on VIOFO App or computer.
A229 Pro Tele supports seamless loop recording and overwrites the oldest videos with the latest ones. With the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam will automatically lock the footage in case of collision or crash, recreating the accident scene for your peace of mind.
A CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter can be used to reduce reflections and glare off glass and road surfaces,
bringing significantly improved image clarity and contrast.
The Bluetooth remote control can be positioned in a convenient location for safe and easy use while driving. Pressing the middle button will instantly protect current video clip and image. The two buttons on the side can be customized to set different functions.
